Catholic Education Rockhampton’s eight colleges and thirty one primary schools are not only located in varied locations, they have a rich and diverse history. Due to the courage and commitment of many religious orders, our schools and colleges are blessed with distinct charisms; special religious character underpinning the fabric of the school. This workshop will explore the concept of charism and introduce you to some of the significant historical founders of our schools, including St Mary of the Cross MacKillop, Nano Nagle, Edmund Rice, Marcellin Champagnat and Catherine McAuley.
